Goal
Our mission is to develop an ecosystem of open source tools built on Nostr and bitcoin to decentralize healthcare, improve health and address challenges in healthcare access, data portability and overall health outcomes.
All apps will be interoperable with the SALUD protocol: Sistema de Administración de Libertad Único y Decentralizado
Structure
Our 5 month challenge will run from January through May and is open to anyone who wants to decentralize healthcare and build tools to help individuals take control of their own health data. We will meet weekly to discuss progress and connect, starting in early January.
Criteria
In developing health apps on nostr and bitcoin, we will be evaluating the products on the following metrics: app production readiness, solution depth and creativity, interoperability, and the overall contribution to a decentralized healthcare ecosystem.
Prize Pool
There will be a 12 million satoshi (0.12 BTC) prize pool awarded to the top app(s) at the end of the challenge. There will also be opportunities to collaborate with NosFabrca beyond the challenge. We will be announcing the total prize pool amount in January.

Weekly Office Hours
We’ll have open weekly challenge office hours on Thursdays from January 16th through May 29th. Join us weekly at 11am eastern time (4PM UTC) to connect with doctors, developers and entrepreneurs focused on building decentralized healthcare solutions on SALUD.
